Everything about it looks so authentic, from the cute action images to the little pen scribbled notes. Even the staple identification on the center of the map. It really could've been an actual manual.
I also love that the game screen in the back turns into a CRT when you open the manual. I love it

The game is all about discovery, and this discovery even comes within the manual itself. It gives you hints, but doesn't always explicitly states what it means. Even the foreign language takes me back when reading English manuals even though I didn't understand them. (I'm dutch)

My favorite part of #Tunic is the charming user manual.
I love how it's like your only way of information into the game, how you have to collect pages to slowly complete the manual.

Think I won't be doing much anniversaries every year anymore, as it's getting a bit much to keep up.
But at least 5 year is a worthy milestone.

Still my favorite project to date, but I also like to look at the different projects done inbetween that time as well.

Many years ago, I had a realistic dream about Book wall/Blocks in Terraria. When I asked Leinfors about it and he told me they were not a thing, but he liked the idea and promised to get them in game. He may have passed away, but years later his promise was held up and they were added.
