A Noddy branded cardboard VHS video cassette box.
I think this must be one of the weirdest branding exercises ever.

Brett Anderson of Suede looking very trim and healthy, annoyingly for the rest of us.

Missed my train home, but it was worth it to see Peter Capaldi in Newcastle tonight. Electric frontman energy, a tight band and wonderfully melancholic lyricism.
That was an early finish by Cluny standards. Good night out though.
Hahaha, Send Help is the most fun I've had in the cinema in quite a while
Itβs Sam Peckinpahβs birthday
Two lovely anecdotes about the beginning of David Warnerβs working relationship with Peckinpah & then being asked to work on Straw Dogs even though heβd mysteriously smashed up both of his feet & couldnβt get insured.

Although in the 70s and 80s, this kind of thing would be more likely.
Something like this I think.
I remember Spitting Image used to portray journalists as vultures and pigs wearing trilbies with press cards sticking out of the belt. Always thought that was a bit unfair on vultures and pigs.
Amusingly, he removes his woolly hat before jumping into the sea fully-clothed.
Iβm sure this sounded better in their head than it reads on the page.
- I love my kids and want to protect them
- I am not irresponsible in any way but do fear that people might accuse me of that
- I donβt trust mainstream medicine, so I wanted explore all the options

And now, the same day we heard of losing Robert Duvall, there goes Frederick Wiseman too. RIP
Photo of a fairly generic modern bathroom with a shower/tub combo, a toilet, a sink, a mirror, and a demonic entity coming out of the mirror
What could go wrong using AI to help stage a few listing photos?
THE GREAT SANTINI doesn't get much attention anymore but this is an all-time great scene. Here you see a great actor embodying a very masculine type and the childish sore loser underneath the facade. This is what I mean when I say these types of characters aren't interrogated in movies much anymore.
What a terrible grandfather! DVD???? Thereβs a good blu-ray.
I think Jim Ratcliffe should get what he deserves: being played by Steve Coogan in an unsympathetic drama about an interview.
Iβve given it a day, but itβs time to address the Harold and Maude age gap π© 1/178
That sums it up. Linklaterβs other recent film, Nouvelle Vague, is a lot easier to take despite being in French and black and white. Itβs a fun romp.
He never shuts up. Not a bad film though.
Anyway, Studio Canalβs 4k of this is quite nice even if it does show up the rubbery bats and obvious studio sets a bit more than a modern audience would like.
βSupportingβ cast of Dennis Waterman, Patrick Troughton and Jenny Hanley keep things interesting.
Watching Scars of Dracula. Like all of Hammerβs later Draculaβs it suffers from Dracula being a supporting character. At least in the Frankenstein films, Peter Cushingβs Baron was always the lead.
Harold does have his little eccentric moments

Hancock's Half Hour - The Poetry Society was on 4 Extra again today. Galton and Simpson ruthlessly skewering the 50's rope-sandal brigade. Life Is Mauve - I Am Orange. Hic Hac Hock.

Walter Matthau -a man in his 50s with black hair, a lined face, narrow eyes and round nose- is standing in a scrap yard, wearing a grey suit, light blue shirt and dark red tie. The shot, from the climactic scenes if Charley Carrick, frames him in close up (head and shoulders) as he puts a stick of gum in his mouth.
Apparently, CHARLEY VARRICK almost starred Clint Eastwood. I'm so glad he decided not to do it. Matthau is perfection in the role. Clint would have upset the perfect balance of the film we ended up with.
When you know youβre in for a strictly faithful adaptation of a classic story
A real shame that this hasnβt received the same treatment as the Dollars trilogy, which all have fantastic discs produced by real enthusiasts,
Not got the 4k after seeing screenshots of the heavily DNRβd image. The blu-ray isnβt great but is probably the least worst option.
