It's the original "gentleman's agreement" that your status & level of wealth determine how much other men are willing to let you get away with.
This is what I've been feeling as a SA survivor. We've all seen this "gentleman's agreement" in action. Every woman I know, rich & poor, has heard generations of stories. But even though it's not surprising for some reason I still foolishly held a grain of hope that justice was ever possible.
