And when it tastes bad, there is absolutely no hiding it in wet food either. Good luck!
Glad she's home! Hope the meds work quickly.
It could have been worse here. It rained for several hours yesterday before switching to snow which probably kept my numbers down. Hockessin - 10in

I just can't with this snow. When I went to bed last night it was 3 to 6 in. This morning there was a blizzard warning and 8 to 12 in. Now they're saying 13 to 17 in. That groundhog is a little bitch.
Enough already.
Hang in there buddy!!
Did you catch it?
I must have missed it. Why did you take him?
That makes sense. It's only going to get stronger once you start using it as designed. But I bet you'll be zooming around in no time!
You got this!
I've never heard that, that's interesting. They've been too busy yelling at me to hurry up getting their cans of food open to send me any healing purrs though π
Pretty good, thank you! It still hurts but the pain has gone down quite a bit from the first night.
All other knuckle joints are fine as is the top joint on that finger. Just one of those things, I guess.
That's a great suggestion, thank you!But the problem isn't so much pulling the ring up with my left thumbnail as it is securing the can, hence holding it between my knees. It was sliding around a bit since I was wearing sweats.Tomorrow I'm going to put 2 silicone pot holders between my knees first π
You're the best, Lynn β₯οΈ
It low-key hurt in general but made me see stars if I tried to use it for gripping something, like a screwdriver or a bottle top or lifting something heavy with that hand, like a bin of cat litter. I learned to just stick that finger out and not use it when picking something up.
Thanks!
The tendon in the same knuckle tore 5 years ago and was repaired,so this is unfortunately not my first timee being left-handed. Was never sure why that happened, but the conclusion now is that was the first sign of something going wrong in that knuckle. Very strange that it's just that one knuckle.
Love those sweet babies! I will definitely let you know, thank you for offering. Yes, I'm right-handed. Will be wrapped for 2 weeks until I see the doc and I would imagine I'll be in a single finger splint after that for a few weeks.
You can help by posting more pictures of Thunder and sweet Izzy! I'll see how it goes when I can use my thumb and index finger in conjunction with the left hand tomorrow, but I may just break out the electric can opener. I'm good, just need to be a little resourceful for a little while π
Still dead weight 7 hours later, but I've got some good drugs for when I start to get feeling again. Very excited to have two fingers free, because I just opened some cans of cat food with my left hand and my knees π
Maybe it would be better if there were churros in every grosserys delivery.
Thank you! Yes, outpatient.
The cartilage is also gone on the left side but more gone on the right side allowing the bone to slip and start to go sideways.
No idea. About 5 years ago I tore a tendon across that knuckle and the doc and I were never sure why but he repaired it. Best guess looking back now is that something was going wrong in that knuckle and the tendon was the first thing to go.
Surgery on my wonky, arthritic knuckle tomorrow. The cartilage on the right side is gone which is why it's collapsing to the right. He's going to fuse the joint so it will be straight but will no longer bend. I will permanently be giving people the finger π
