My mum had surgery this week to attempt to remove her cancer and unfortunately had a breathing complication with a partial lung collapse and now cant breathe as well during sleep any more.

It's not fair criticism to basically say an opinion comes across as "This is game does it better, so the other one is just inferior." Why are you even bothering to play the game at that point? Also thank you for the extended replies and the detailed response, I do appreciate your thoughts.

Accusing implies I'm blaming you of wrongdoing, you've done nothing wrong. I'm just stating that there's a clear bias in the wording you use & the way you compare the two games. Criticism is fine, but it's unfair when you compare it in the critic, instead of letting it be it's own entity.

That's also more or less how Venom himself plays with differences like his shield is health bar, while Winston's is an area. Also Venom isn't single target, his dive is to launch then M2 to ensnare multiples in the back line. It's essentially the same premise, just multi-target instead of single.

So his swing can actually be change direction mid air, honestly the swing feels a bit off to me, not sure if its because I'm not experienced enough or not. Turning easy swing off in the settings does make it feel different. You can also combo his abilities together for greater effect and quick elims

Also Rival tanks also have abilities & playstyles to sway fights just like OW. As OW tanks are just as much 'meatsacks' as Rival characters. Their primary job in both games is to mitigate/absorb damage, its why they have a lot of health in both games.

Honestly that's understandable to worry about its future and I can see why. But if everyone keeps comparing/treating it the same as Overwatch, then it's more likely doomed to follow it. It's why we need to let it have the chance to be it's own first, so it build it's own future.

Well first off, that's a pretty lazy reply which let's me know you don't actually have anything actually constructive to defend this point outside of you just liking OW better. Second, I main tanks almost exclusively in Rivals and OW, they are honestly about the same simplicity with minor exceptions

Honestly, looking through all the replies on this thread, the opinions you've been giving seem quite generic & seem quite biased to OW. Also opinions formed from another's video you commented, with little regard for rivals to stand as it's own game. This seems a bit poorly done for a journalist.

By this reasoning, you can break also break down any OW character & have them sound just as boring or simplistic as you made venom sound. E.G Ramattra is just deploy shield, throw AoE, go punch or shoot, then repeat. Tanks are also 'meatsacks' in every game, as their job is to mitigate/absorb damage
