After playing ~5500 games the biggest that I've learned is that ANYTHING design/mechanically will work and be compelling, *if* the creator(s) are willing to commit to the bit.

My child requested Pokemon themed food to celebrate the release of Pokemon Pokopia today.

The issue has never been the volume of code being generated, in many cases it was too much being written.

Even if GenAI was viable (doubt) it won't solve the actual issues and problems faced by product development.

When it comes to live services games people are treating them like a 'sprint' and pulling the plug in weeks when they should recognize they are more of a...um...err... [long amount of running thing]
