I moved the base stations down stairs, and brought my trackers down. The trackers show as connecting, but then immediately disconnect, and the base stations down show in Steam VR at all.

Many YT vids show this as a piece of cake with Space Calibrator, but Iunno what's going on. x3

VR stuffs

So I have switched back to my quest Pro for the time being, the face tracking is much better. And since I moved my play space out of the "VR Room" the controllers don't do silly things, so it works great.

I am trying to get full body to work though, and none of the trackers show... xD

We booting up a 4 year out of date Chromebook and downloaded the BIOS file. Put it on a flashdrive, and plugged the drive into a special port, and pressed a button! Then it flashed a tiny light for about 5 minutes. Then we turned on the PC and it booted first try! ^^

It unfortunately didn't boot first try. We had to do a BIOS "ReFlash" to the latest version, as the motherboard didn't natively support the 9800x3D or the 7800x3D. It ... Took us a whole 1:30 hours to find a post mentioning to try that, haha!

The mobo was showing a "GPU" error before hand. x3

With discord doing the whole verification thing... Which I understand... But I just don't trust it one bit.

I was paying about 20$/month for nitro and all the boosts. So either way this will save me a tank of gas for the smart car.

Update - Hahahaha, I am not sure what it is I am doing wrong, but the Studio Voice... Sounds absolutely terrible. xD It sounds nothing like me, robotic and it sounds sorta like its removing my voice, rather than improving it.

That... is so weird. x3 I remember it being praised so much!

It does jump up to about 65-70% while wearing the headset. But that leaves a lotta wiggle room still for actually streaming!

And obviously with all my 3D apps running that make the stream more interesting, the load would be lower for when I Just wanna be in VR Chat normally.

So maaaaaybe?

Audio Silliness

I'm constantly toying around with my audio for VR Chat and general content creation.

I currently have... basically an XLR mic hot glued under my headset, and now I wanna add in Studio Voice.

This is with VR Chat, ALL streaming apps, and Studio voice running on my 5070ti.

Every single trans person I have come across in my life has just been... An amazing person, who just wants to live THEIR life and be happy.

I love to see people being happy. And she is just rockin' happiness at the tavern haha!

When Smiley and I go to the tavern... There is a new girl working there. She is trans, and she is the heckin' best.

She genuinely seems to like to talk to us, crack jokes, smile and laugh with us. Instead of just doing business.

She really seems like a friend! She's way to cool! ^^

A Challenge

This video took me a week to do... Not because it was hard to create... Just Everytime I tried, I would get emotional.

Today a thought passed in my single braincell... That it would be cool for some creation of mine to do well, and be known for that thing.

But then I think... Everything is... Kinda nice as it is. Everyone so far is super friendly. No known enemies.

Doom scrolling , meaning you keep scrolling "doom" posts. There was so much on Twitter that invoked emotion, that is meant for IRL, not online, sadness, anger, disgust.

Everywhere else? I don't doom scroll. I see people being creative, thriving, and helping each other survive.

Freedom

I recently completely deleted my space over on X dot com.

Twitter I will miss. I had accounts there for around 17 years. It's sad what happened to it. But, all good things come to an end eventually. And it did.

It's a feeling of freedom, not doom scrolling there anymore.

One of the things I dislike about being positive, is that people will sometimes prey on it.

I do it for family, for friends, for those who need it.

I sometimes get told nasty things for it.

I just wanna make life good. But life preys on that.

Tonight, I am sad. Because of that.

And technically the payment plan is payed by ATT, as long as you keep your internet and your service plan with them.

BUT if you lower your plan to "save money", you now owe on the installment plan, and your internet price goes up by 11 buckeroos.

I looked at this and just bust out laughing. xDDD

Not to mention the "DEAL" for the iPhone... also requires a trade in, and the trade in NEEDS to be worth at least 230 dollars to get their phone, which you are then required to get at least a 75.99 a month unlimited plan to use. WHICH, its not 0$, you are signing up for a payment plan...Cont.

Something YouTube has been pushing as of recent, is trying to get me to use AI generated responses to comments.

It's learned how I talk to people, and generates responses in MY way of talking.

And I REALLY don't like that.
