Alternatively, also willing to take on a part time job if anyone knows somehting good in the Philly area (or online) hiring. I used to be a software engineer, but it drove me nuts. I'm willing to do just about anything but work in a restaurant kitchen (I would be bad at it)
This is true. Incidentally, I've been unemployed since october. If you need someone to mix/master music/audio, do video editing, or if you need original music for a project, I'm very good at these things!!

Hell yeah. Also, def looks like you have curls, even if they end up being loose. And wavy hair is essentially very very loose curls. Based on my experience with an ex long-term partner of mine who had wavy hair, it benefits from the same things curly hair does, so you should be set either way
Of course! I've been growing my hair out long since I was a kid, way before transitioning, so I've got a lot of experience dealing with curls lol
Almost forgot since you mentioned tangling specifically. Certainly, as long as you keep your hair healthy and hydrated, it won't tangle *as* much. And of course YMMV, but in my experience I just need to do some basic detangling with my fingers every time I shower, and that keeps it in check
Oh also, yes, a specific microfiber "hair towel" is worth the relatively cheap investment
I only use shampoo if i feel my hair is *excessively* gross for some reason, which is incredibly rare. Usually I just let it get rinsed with nothing but water when I bathe. And every time I shower, I end with a rinse of cool/cold water, which is just generally good for your hair and skin
Personally, I usually wash my hair with conditioner maybe once a month, and just rub in some leave in conditioner and "curl enhancer" if im gonna go anywhere
I use all Aveda products, which are annoyingly expensive, but also better than anything I've tried my entire life
Generally speaking, the "curly girl method" will do ya good, so search for that

I live in Philly and there's a ton around here, but it's all diy noise and punk bands playing in basements that no one will ever hear about (signed, a person who plays protest music with my diy band in basements)
