The Orlando Pride has loaned goalkeeper Mac Crone to Fort Lauderdale United for the remainder of their 2026 Gainbridge Super League season ⚽️
She was barely given minutes or caps prior. It is a strange coincidence. There are plenty of younger players with more caps and minutes than her. I could’ve seen Sears, Ryan, Dickey or Croix getting it ahead of her. 🤷🏻♀️ Honestly, if I had had to guess who out of the starters would get the armband.
It was her first start post leaving then, I didn’t watch either game. I didn’t know she was subbed in for the Paraguay game. It is just interesting timing. I don’t buy that there was never a time she could’ve been captain before now, so regardless of the young line-up the timing feels pointed.
🇧🇷Yes! And Zambian 🇿🇲! I’ve wanted Kerry to get more National Team looks for a long time too. It feels like some players on other teams don’t have to do as much to get noticed. It’s fine, one more reason not to root for the USWNT.

I have read the comments on here about the USWNT’s lack of acknowledgement of any of the current events. When I decided I could no longer support the federation and stopped supporting the team in any way, it was hard. But it can be done. You don’t have to keep supporting them
I respect Davidson, but she’s still working back from injury. The previous gen was so good at taking meaningful stands… I miss that. Hopefully this group will wake up as they get older. 🤷🏻♀️
Our thoughts are with the people in Minnesota and across the country who are bravely standing up for their neighbors despite violence committed by ICE. If you are looking for a way to support the people of Minnesota, we want to highlight the work being done by the Immigrant Rapid Response Fund.
It is frustrating, but all we can do is keep having fun our own way. The fan base is still growing. It isn’t a sprint but a marathon.
Until numbers rise, I just focus on being the kind of fan I want to see more of supporting the Pride, NWSL and women’s sports. All it takes is one crazy person to start a trend, to make the out of ordinary become ordinary. Just keep dancing to your own beat. We’ll have a conga line growing soon.

Reponses to what in particular? I personally try to engage in Pride content when I can and have supported the team since their inception. I no longer live in Fl, but we drove to the Championship in 24. Some fan bases just take longer to build than others and Fl is infamous for that in many sports.
