It’s that fabulous actor Melvyn Hayes’ 91st birthday today.
I met Melvyn for the 1st time at the recent Hammer premiere of The Curse of Frankenstein; not only was he a hysterically funny stand up,he was a terrific guy to catch up with afterwards.
I was so hoping this wasn’t true but it seems the fine actor & stuntman Derek Martin has died. I never worked with him but met him at MistyMoon Sweeney reunion. He was a lovely, interesting talented man.
