Awesome work and nicely presented! Very lucky to have such a diligent and hardworking team member 💛 Keep your eyes peeled from more to come from Ask on the tendon clock! 👀
Want to prevent tendon injuries? Eccentric exercises, like Nordic hamstring curls, don't just build muscle. They strengthen tendons too. A new study by @ccstorytime.bsky.social, funded in part by @wutsaialliance.bsky.social, suggests how. humanperformancealliance.org/news/study-s...
Stay tuned for the last department meeting before the Christmas break, where Ask Mobjerg will be presenting the science of the paper! 🔬🧑🔬 #teamtendon
Congratulations Christian! 🍾🥂 Impressive effort 💪
Back on the stage again! Ask Møbjerg gets the opportunity to talk about his PhD project and network with other circadian researchers in Denmark at this awesome #DDEA networking event called “Eat, Sleep, Repeat: Circadian Rhythms at the Interface of Endocrinology & the Brain” ⏰
Our November #TheMeshwork seminar dives into proteomics & proteolytic ECM remodeling in cardiovascular pathologies 🫀Featuring Dr. Salvatore Santamaria and PhD students Tina Burkhard & Alex Minns @uniofsurrey.bsky.social

Thank you to all the course teachers and students for a science-filled program! Looking forward to this next cohort of ECM researchers develop their work 🤩 And many thanks to Charlotte Bilde and the staff of Fælleshuset for making sure there was an endless supply of coffee ☕️🧁
And of course, rounding off the 3-day course with a bit of healthy competition from the students shark tank style! 🦈💸 Our judges @grithhojfeldt.bsky.social and Rene Svensson selected “JointSlay” as winners over “AngioFrame” and “Keloidoscope” - hypothetical products to promote ECM repair!
Final day of the matrix PhD course: lectures on in vitro models by Kevin Baker, microscopy techniques by Clara Prats and mechanical measurements from macro to the nano scale by René Svensson!
Learning examples of ECM research using complex imaging & cutting edge spatial proteomics & degradomics analyses from Kasper Mygind & Michael Davies. And the use of stem cells to encourage cartilage repair by Lise Berg. Lots of things to think about in our group work sessions!
Day 2 lectures included more technical ones covering how to maximise readouts from small samples by considering sample preparation taught by Peter Schjerling 🍐 and learning from proteomics methodologies designed for single cells taught by @erwinschoof 🧫 #ECMatrix 🤔
Day 2 of the Matrix Biology PhD course and we’re in the new Fælleshuset building starting our group work brain storming. Thanks to @douglaspdyer.bsky.social and @tranejoan.bsky.social for laying the foundations of ECM biology in yesterday’s lectures!
Fantastic experience to hear about to cool science on stem cells and tendon regeneration and healing. And to see our friend and former colleague in his new work place 🤩
Our tendon enthusiasts @ccstorytime.bsky.social & @annesofieagergaard.bsky.social are in Nanjing, China for an international meeting focused on orthopedic surgery and sports medicine talking about their approach with circadian rhythms and exercise-based treatment on tackling tendinopathy ⏰🏋️♀️ #tendon
On our way as guest speakers at the Jinling International Sports Medicine & Joint Reconstruction Congress in Nanjing! We’re also super happy to be able to reunite with a previous PhD student Cheng Zhang! #teamtendon #tendinopathy @annesofieagergaard.bsky.social @ismcopenhagen.bsky.social

At @lundbeckfonden.bsky.social Hearts x Minds Festival in Aarhus, Dr Anne Theil Gates and Eline Baad-Hansen talked about physical health and cognitive function with exercise 💙 🧠 💪
Today’s department meeting was presented by Max Ravn Merkel on the research MAGNETOM Free.Star MRI scanner and its possibilities. We also had an introduction to what the new CPH Center for Translational Research has to offer 🤩 Lots of new tools for our researchers with enthusiastic support 👩🔬
Looking forward to seeing you again at another #ECM meeting! And to hear about your new project! 🤞
