Thank you!!
Thank you!!
And if you'd like to know more about my path to London, check out the story here! www.moffitt.org/education/re...
For more on our lab's philosophy and approach to science, check out our @mathonco.bsky.social blog post here: mathematical-oncology.org/blog/bukkuri...
The Bukkuri Lab will develop and apply mathematical and philosophical tools to pose and address questions at the nexus of cancer, evolutionary ecology, & social science!
We are recruiting at all levels, so if you're interested in working with us (or just bouncing around wacky ideas), get in touch!
A bit late to this, but I'm delighted to announce that I've officially begun my permanent faculty position in the Department of Mathematics at City St George's, University of London!

Interesting paper that stresses the importance of multidisciplinary training for achieving excellence across fields!
Although narrow, disciplinary training provided advantages in early years, these benefits were eclipsed by those provided by multidisciplinary training in later years.
Looking forward to this! A non-Elsevier alternative to Theoretical Population Biology / Journal of Theoretical Biology
Had a wonderful time at the International Society for Evolution, Medicine, and Public Health Annual Meeting
@evolutionvu.bsky.social! As always, it was a pleasure meeting old friends and new colleagues working at the interface of evolutionary biology and medicine π
Had a blast at the annual @smtpb.bsky.social meeting @nitmb.bsky.social! Thoroughly enjoyed sharing my work on cancer evolutionary ecology, connecting with old and new theory colleagues, and of course discussing toroidal snakes ;)
Check out my website for some of the associated papers! sites.google.com/view/anuraag...
Extremely honored to have received the inaugural Scott H. Williamson from @smtpb.bsky.social for my work on developing and applying mathematical tools to understand cancer evolution, therapeutic resistance, and eco-evolutionary dynamics in structured populations!

Key take-away: differential proliferation and survival of adrenergic and mesenchymal phenotypes, rather than cell state switching, likely drives therapeutic response in neuroblastoma!
Check out our article on "Cell types or cell states? An investigation of adrenergic and mesenchymal cell phenotypes in neuroblastoma," just out in iScience!
