You’ll be missing some good resources that were maintained on USAID.gov before it was taken down.

I was thinking something similar. Someone is going to have a great dissertation about the first coup accomplished by getting access to a government’s servers over a weekend.
😭 I don’t find the 3am crowing (which doesn’t stop for hours) very useful. However when I woke up in the middle of the night because I wasn’t feeling well recently, I did accurately estimate that it was around 2am because the rooster wasn’t crowing. So there’s that?
Like clockwork the rooster next door starts crowing at 3:15 am every morning. I really need to know why. Cartoons led me to believe they’re triggered by the sun coming up. Is this rooster broken or is this how they all work?
When considering what's happening to USAID, it's useful to look at what happened to DFID

Guest Opinion | USAID must be dismantled unless the agency will apologize for the disgraceful role it played in ending South African apartheid.

We are here today to shine a light on the crime that is unfolding before our eyes and support our tremendous civil servants at U.S. AID.

"It’s not all bad. Sure, I’m grading five hundred papers a week and living in a 1990 Honda Civic, but at least I get to hold my office hours in the campus Starbucks."
unfortunately I still have to go to that other app to follow individual journalists like Yousra Elbagir who is on the ground in Goma
“Smaller versions of this catastrophe have played out before. For example, when the USA pulled out of Afghanistan. That withdrawal was done in 48 hours. However, never has humanitarian funding ended so quickly and on such a large scale.”

Ever wonder what snow in the swamp would look like? This is 5 miles into the Louisiana swamps in the Atchafalaya basin... it's unreal... having lived down there for the first 28 years of my life, we never saw anything like this.
Smashed records.

I don’t understand why most birthdate pickers start with the current year
It’s weird to think data at the household level would be useful for advertising to individuals. No wonder most advertising seemed to rely on stereotypes

“Noooo that’s my secret name. It’s only used by your mother if she’s really angry at you.”
There are many countries where they insist on writing my full name. Seeing my middle name all out in the open like that just weirds me out. It’s difficult to explain, though. I’ve given up trying because halfway through I realize how crazy it sounds.
*actually looks at list* hmmm you’re not even close to the limit 🤷🏻♀️
Did you hit the 150 account limit?
