Yes, apparently the Iranian ship was unarmed and invited along with the U.S to be part of an Indian Naval exercise. The terrorist US pulled out of the exercise, and instead illegally attacked the Iranian ship killing most and leaving the survivors.

Penny Wong yesterday refused to say when asked whether Australian personnel were on the submarine during the attack. She had insisted that the government would not comment for "operational and security reasons" Albanese has since stated that they were, in fact, on board as part of the AUKUS agreement. He claims they sat out the attack. Penny Wong has also refused when pressed to say whether the US Pine Gap military base in Alice Springs is being used to wage this war.

As of yesterday, Sri Lankan authorities had recovered 87 bodies from the attack along with 32 survivors. The attack was part of a new war of aggression by Israel and the US against Iran and Lebanon. Israel/Us have so far killed more than 1,000, including 165 in an Iranian girls' school. Israel is getting ready to carpet bomb Southern Beirut. After three years of genocide in Gaza, this new offensive forms part of an attempt to consolidate the hold of Western imperialism over the region.
