Ah cool, thought that might be the case. I think I was mostly wondering about bots in the cases of net new accounts, but if they are all still migrated accounts then yeah, probably not likely
There just seem to be a lot of people who think LLM code means you can just make things and not care how they work. And I think that's a dangerous mindset, you're still going to need to review the code and know what it does, otherwise if it breaks in production you better hope you can fix it.
Never said it did
I'm mostly thinking about people vibe coding things into existence with no programming background and think it's magic lol
Good, I'm seeing it Saturday, it looked fun
Thank you to Google @opensource.google for joining #AtmosphereConf as a major sponsor! We appreciate your support!
@hailey.at Penny has been awfully quiet lately, is she offline?
Yeah I think I also recently saw this. I doubt my company would even allow us to use these tools atm. Just getting AI agents for Intellij and GitHub had to go through security team. So I suspect anything else isn't allowed without getting an angry email 😂
I also ask it to double check my work which sometimes catches something I didn't see. But we definitely have people just taking code it spits out and assuming it's correct, which is annoying to review
Obviously that's an extreme scenario, most bugs don't do that. Currently we only have access to copilot at work. I usually let it do boring stuff like generating junits that I can then double check for accuracy. Or letting it generate something that's tedious to write by hand
I've been working on warehouse software for 13 years, where one line of bad code can equal a warehouse going down and customers losing millions. I try to be thorough with my edge testing. Others not so much. It's a 30+ year old code base, if you don't know what you're touching bad things happen
I just love being blocked by people I've literally never interacted with
Yeah people like AI = bad. The only thing I point out is you can't just ship LLM code without a review, it's still code and people still need to understand what it does
Yeah this slowed my entire day down...
Do we know if these are all real people vs bots, or what the breakdown might be?
I'm content in my personal lists
I got blocked like three times today, I assume it's because I commented on the LLM topic 😂

Two lop-eared bunnies cuddle on a small wooden house. The left one is brown, the right one is gray.
Well that's good to know, I was using wipes at the gym on my phone and wondering if that was bad 🤣
Stop frowning DK!

We went to a conference in Las Vegas. Truly eye-opening.
“I’ve got a couple dozen hostile and extremely large individuals impeding an officer—I need as many agents as you can send me, now!” said Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent Ken Fischer
Ah, that's probably the difference. I've been using the stuff baked into intellij via copilot at work. Tbh I don't know what they would allow us to use, even enabling agents required prescreening by our security team.
