Here's my second post, which is an exercise in integrating a UIKit view into SwiftUI and in technical writing.

The good news is is that I'm slowly building a component system (paragraphs, code blocks, image containers, etc). But even those still require a lot of work.
To start with, I'm trying to build my own blog AND I've decided against two things: 1) choosing a CMS to host my posts and 2) using markdown at all in my blog. I thought this might free me up to try unconventional layout things, but it means publishing a post requires a lot of manual work.
I came up with a project to learn #SwiftUI, which I write a bit about here. As much as I'm learning about SwiftUI, I also have a lot to learn about technical writing and creating a blog.

If you care about the future of our information space, media and creator viability, or brand safety, my colleague @riovictoire.bsky.social’s op-ed is a must read.
Social media monetization is a gaping hole in tech policy convos. I hope this piece can help jumpstart some new lines of inquiry.
Hey! I recently had the thought that I don’t think I learned as much in as short of a time as I did when I worked with you guys. I still reach for patterns and heuristics I came across on the “Track” team.

This was fun to listen to. Happy to have been a spectator for parts of this episode’s oral history.
I think I lean towards the square stickers too, mostly because they’d be easier to handle. But the die cut would look nice.
Maybe we could campaign for “bost” to catch on

Are we calling these “skeets” or (my preference) “bleets”?
