Thoughts on the new Path of Exile league while in act 1: Game is throwing so much currency at me I think I might take actual physical damage. Also the holy strike skill is neat and templar is just hilarious to use sometimes. Move speed doesn't matter if I never need to move.

Still feels weird to have all these quests on the cat and elf character, but the Ogre gets basically nothing? Almost feel like I missed quests. And apparently a bunch of ogre quests lower rep with other parts of their own starter town, which is whack.

Damn, ogres, get your shit together.

Time for a break from EverQuest/Quarm for the night. Gonna do up next week's schedule then play some Path of Exile.

Apparently failing these quest crafts is just kinda how EQ works, so I ain't doing anything wrong. Just gotta keep trying till I get my cool claws.

Failed the craft for the beastlord claws again, third time now. Internal screaming intensifies.

EverQuest/Quarm will return next week since I fucking love it, and I'm sure I'll get this last scorpion leg SOMEHOW, but I may end up losing my mind and eating the moon before then.

Today we fought a great battle against small animals in a pit outside the starter town. However, we learned that scorpions don't have legs. They just don't. I need them for a quest craft and we failed the first set we used! We've spent hours and only got a few legs, I'm gonna lose my mind aaAAA-

I forgot about daylight fuckup hours. So that and shit sleep means today's everquest stream starts ah hour later. Which was on time but now isn't. Not confusing at all.

A to-do list of quests showing a long amount of over 12 quests and a shopping list of items to get.

Goddamn, I haven't even left the High Elf town yet on my Enchanter and look at my goddamn quest notes. #everquest

We're playing EverQuest on Project Quarm tomorrow, but not sure what character. Was mainly playing my Vah Shir (catgirl) Beastlord, but also just started an Enchanter which apparently is both extremely powerful, and very hard to play. So I'm sure that'll end well.

With Animyst and Snail Sim under our belt, someday we'll work our way up to doing a collab of playing a game with more than 50 people playing it!

Not sure if there's something I missed but it wasn't really evident how to even do that.

Other than that the only complication was doing all this, including going deep into the jungle to find out how to make the cure, while brain hunters from outside the universe kept jumping me. Noisy buggers.

Had to look up in the wiki how to fix it, and ran into what is so far the only limitation of using gamepad controls: We had to leave a canteen on the campfire to set it on fire, then pick it back up. But I couldn't figure out how to actually get it since any 'use' action just used the campfire.

Well that was messy! Our snapjaw buddies all died, then the dump called Golgatha rusted a bunch of our stuff, and then we contracted Glotrot which rotted our tongues off which meant we could no longer speak. We got it fixed, but damn. Caves of Qud things, I guess.

An image comparing the Ogre models from different versions of EverQuest. Project 1999 (on the second expansion), Quarm on the third expansion, and the current retail version. The Project 1999 version is a very very wide and goofy looking Ogre.

Making a little article like thing on EverQuest and the ways to play it. There are many. But ended up making a little comparison image and... I love Quarm's gameplay more (due to camera/QoL) but I miss scrungly ogres from Project 1999.

Seriously, even with help of a viewer and some others it took a total of like 1.5-2 hours (I think?) to do all the events for the tower... and we ended up dying most of the way through anyway so I couldn't even get all the achievements.

We did not beat LW1, because that damn tower in the thumbnail is a giant clusterfuck as it's meant for groups. So after trying (and failing) to do anything solo, we actually did the impossible and played with others. Still died, but managed to move the plot along and leave the tower.

Running a bit behind, so streams probably gonna start about 15 minutes later than usual.

A tiger-like cat person wearing chainmail with nothing underneath so it looks like a fishnet style outfit.

So many of the cat people in EverQuest (at least in their city) wear chainmail. But like, with nothing underneath... so it kinda ends up looking like a city full of hot cat people casually wearing full body fishnets.

Why everyone so hot?
