A medieval-looking castle hidden in Kyiv.

Built in 1908 for neurologist Mykhailo Lapinsky, this neo-Gothic building was once one of the tallest in the city.

Very beautiful building, beautiful decorations on the facade and roof. Well maintained. It exudes a sense of history.

But some survived and managed to hide their works.

They belonged to Boychukism, a Ukrainian modernist movement of the early 20th century that combined Byzantine icon traditions, folk art and monumental painting.
