The entire first book (which was pretty good!) is basically slow world building where a small group of people find out their magical immortal god-emperor who openly uses magic to run his stuff was using Reddit Atheism to hide the fact that magic exists but we are already in the shit 100 pages later

Taking a break from the smooth-brained historical action of Sharpe’s novels to really buff that thing into a perfect sphere with The Horus Heresy and its extremely funny that there are like 60 of these but Horus is already vamping around dressed like Nightmare from Soul Calibur early into book two

To be fair, no one ever seems to clarify if they are running one printer in a spare room occasionally or have five in their living room printing 18 hours a day and a surprising amount of posts are the latter situation, printing out the monster manual and wondering why they won’t stop throwing up
