UNSIGHTED is one of those games I think is really slept on: an incredibly hard metroidvania with a really interesting (and painful) narrative countdown clock which makes what you do really feel like it matters

Lord of The Rings but make it Apocalypse Now and Annihilation.
Shit gets progressively trippier and cosmic horror the closer one gets to the tower of Mordor.
Dark matter is just lost odd socks. Billions upon billions of civilisations who at some stage in their evolution had pairs of knitted limb coverings wondering where the fuck one of them went.
Dark matter.
Please hand me my Nobel for science.
Cover of Who Killed Sarah Shaw?
Three years ago we released something that divided readers into two camps: "What the hell did I just read?" & "I need more of this."
Eat My Flesh, Drink My Blood hit different. Still does.
Something special coming. Stay tuned.
Meanwhile, review WKSS? on B&N!

Double Down Saloon, the Arts District, the wetlands park, Red Rock Canyon, a million great little dives. Thereβs so many great spots that are a wonderful break from the strip.
Iβll meet yβall at the Double Down. Prepare for incredible local punk bands.
i think its funny that at some point journalists stopped being allowed to understand a situation because any synthesis is, of coursed, biased towards the observable facts
damn. relentless march of time got hands
How do you handle your camera system? Does it handle inversions? (I think I saw a clip of you doing a loop in a post once) Anyway, very excited for your game!
Going from Wheatley labs to a whole Wheatley world for everyone.

Despite the controversy, Horses is only shocking if you're unfamiliar with the history movies, theater, literature, or basically any art form that does not have stats. aftermath.site/horses-indie-g...
As promised I recorded the creation of a morph (from scratch) using the tech we developed for Keeper. In about an hour I show how we capture the βEssenceβ of meshes, blend between them, and spice things up with spatial warps.

Dropping a vote for E. Canβt wait for the video! Your morph technique is so cool.
Does anyone remember that Interactive Storytelling book that all Digipen students have (had?) to read in first year?
Was it Chris Crawford on interactive storytelling?
I believe "Understanding Comics: The Invisible Art" by Scott McCloud was also part of the curriculum?
Credits for Brent Porter (3D art lead) and Catherine Menabde (2D art lead) are shown here. There's a lengthy description of what they did, with a pastiche of various Demonschool characters underneath, messing around with a computer.
We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable.
We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trumpβs $40 billion bailout for Argentina.
A vote for this bill is a mistake.
a mesh with some bevels applied in Half-edge, Freya's modeling tool. though it's got some hollow corners that have yet to be filled in
I'm so close to having bevels in #half-edge now!!
"just" some hole filling left
Freya's notes/diagrams for a mesh beveling algorithm
okay writing a mesh beveling algorithm is like the fencepost issue on steroids
Illustrated poster of the tower of Cirith Ungol in the land of Mordor. In the foreground are a bunch of orcs and goblins with acid green rim-light holding swords and axes and pole-arms. In the middle ground is a narrow bridge leading between two grotesque statues into the multi tiered tower that is lit with sickly green lights. Below it leading into the plateau of Gorgoroth are the hills of the Ethel Duath. In the distance is Orodruin and Ered Lithui. The text at the top is white flame like black metal lettering with the words CIRITH UNGOL. Nine green stars float above them. Plumes of smoke and ash fill the sky. A tiny shadow is grossing the bridge. Lord of the Rings. Tolkien. Prints coming soon.
THE TOWER OF CIRITH UNGOL
ok fuck PC/console I want to make a game for THIS
An image from the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Redemption": dozens of crew members of the USS Enterprise stand on either side of a corridor of the ship to say goodbye to Lt. Worf as he leaves Starfleet to fight in the Klingon Civil War.
Tough day for Cryptic STO team. We're losing two of our most senior artists, including Hector Ortiz, who codified the look of STO's unique 25th-century Starfleet aesthetic. The other is Senior FX Artist Chris Menard, who has been on the project with me for the last 15 years. We'll miss them dearly.
I got a game coming out in the next 1-3 months. Our core team is just 2 folks.
It's dope, you can play the demo.
And you can help us by wishlisting.
