Hey #dotnet folks if you’re using a CI/CD double check your resource URLs. A CDN has gone bankrupt and may cease operations in the next month. We are working to make transparent fixes but you can be proactive github.com/dotnet/core/...

In my experience, it's much easier if you upgrade directly from .NET Framework 4.x to .NET 8.0 or higher, rather than going through .NET Core 2.1 to .NET 8.0.

We’re looking at moving async state machine generation into the JIT and out of C#. This should enable many optimizations that are hard to accomplish today in async code (inlining etc).
