I'm one of the people who tried to plant the idea of a phone in Steve Jobs’s head but I have no idea if he even read my 2004 email suggesting Apple build a phone with an app store. I finished building a Symbian app store for the company that invented WAP and was frustrated by the UX of those phones.

I do think there is a case to be made for tech executives and high level managers being replaced by AI agents or becoming AI administrators. They should be all knowing so they can make the best decisions. I tend to think an AI could do better with minimal oversight (safety nets for hallucinations).
I'm not sold on AI taking over all aspects of software development but there are certainly parts that should be automated and/or augmented by AI. I think developers should be using AI tools but avoiding becoming a tool of AIs.

I saw a show at The Cow Palace outside of San Francisco. Loverboy could have been a last minute replacement. I kind of remember really wanting to see the band they replaced, but I know that I did really enjoy their set.
