Still used when maintaining or restoring single-stage paint on old cars. I did clay bar, glaze, and polish work on my Fairlane, preferring to restore than a new paint job. Most I queried said freshen up and keep the patina. IMO the depth and sheen of modern two-stage paint doesn’t fit the era.

Anecdotal, but a high school friend is an artist and he’s worked in Hollywood for decades on top big budget and award-winning animated films. Lost job during strike. Still out of work.
First, Georgia’s film and TV industry grew from nothing during Gov. Deal’s term (2011 to 2019). COVID in 2020-2021 then the strike hit hard. Hollywood got hit hard, too, but a 100-year foundation is inherently stronger than our barely 10 year old foray.
The article isn’t vague. Those things severely hurt the industry. Gov. Deal created the incentives that built the boom and they continued through Gov. Kemp. The strike disrupted the primary biz, network series productions. Covid was the same. No work, no income, people and businesses pull up stakes.
