I completely understand. The idea wasn’t to be against the Mets or the fans but to provide another avenue as to what’s going on with Soto and why patience is needed

So in that case, it is an accurate title. Clickbait or not. It invites you to click on it and hear someone’s opinion which create a debate over a group of different opinions.
How about you observe the channel before crucifying me over one title that I feel is very true. They do have a problem with all the “leaks” from this past week on top of the constant scrutiny that Soto is dealing with. I even compared it to Lindor in the post.

For the record, to those commenting below. I titled the post asking if the Mets and Soto have a problem. If you WATCHED the video , you would realize that I said that they don’t and we need to be patient with Soto. 😑
Do the #Mets and Juan Soto have a HUGE problem?
Soto’s struggles resemble a previous BIG contract player that the Mets acquired not too long ago. 👀

The #Mets are SURGING behind the HOT bat of Pete Alonso. Alonso’s production was once a hot debate before he signed back with the team. Here’s why we were wrong to DOUBT him, new video below:

The New York #Mets dropped their season-opening series to the Astros by only mustering one win out of the early games. There was very little to like and quite a bit to be concerned about. #LGM

@mlbpipeline.com announced the Top 30 prospects for AL & NL East teams. Here are the #Mets’ top 5 prospects:
1. Brandon Sproat, RHP (MLB No. 46)
2. Jett Williams, SS/OF (MLB No. 57)
3. Carson Benge, OF (MLB No. 100)
4. Ryan Clifford, 1B/OF
5. Nolan McLean, RHP
🚨NEW EPISODE 🚨
The New York #Mets took another huge blow with Sean Manaea now expected to be out indefinitely due to an oblique strain.
Should they look to make a new addition?

The #Mets are in a tough spot as they have now lost Frankie Montas for the next three months.
We break down how this should affect their thinking when approaching pitching and what this could mean for them going forward.

How do we feel about this lineup #Mets fans?!
📺: youtu.be/vuIvw1Jo_cw?...
Pete Alonso has returned to the #Mets on a prove-it deal!
This instantly improves the lineup and their chances of contending this season. He turned down a bigger deal to return but why is that?
youtu.be/vuIvw1Jo_cw?...
The New York #Mets have officially pivoted to Plan B which is life without Pete Alonso but is that a wise choice for the franchise or Alonso?

Now that Roki Sasaki has eliminated the #Mets, which starting pitcher should they target via trade or free agency?
I can’t be the only one that’s not 100% confident in the current rotation. (They could absolutely prove me wrong but here we are)
Oh I agree that he should be ahead of them. I was just going by the national outlook of it.
The #Mets are said to still be in the market for a starting pitcher. So why not try to add a former Cy Young winner to the rotation as opposed to adding another ‘“project” ? Should the Mets make this move? Or stand pat?

Andy Martino of SNY is stating that the Mets are NOT close to striking a deal with Pete Alonso. Despite the previous report of Jim Duquette. 👀
Jim Duquette did mention that there was “no deal known to be close."
Per Jim Duquette, Pete Alonso’s camp has offered the Mets a three year deal with opt outs. He also said that the deal is only for the Mets. 👀
How do we feel about this?
Does Pete Alonso or the #Mets hold the advantage in their negotiations? Alonso doesn’t have the leverage that he thinks he has and the Mets may have other options now.

For Manaea, yes. He delivered greatly for them and was their ace when they need him most. Again, I’m not against bringing him back. It was the perfect pairing between him and the Mets.
But I’m curious to see if their system can truly help Holmes and Montas be the next versions of Manaea this year.
I have no issues with the Sean Manaea deal. He pitched his tail off last season, and the #Mets must feel confident in the analytics backing it.
My bigger concern is whether this signals that the #Mets are settling for reclamation projects instead of pursuing a solid, front-of-the-rotation starter.
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Great breakdown! LGM!

The Yankees have signed Goldschmidt a day after the Astros signed Walker.
Pete Alonso is younger than both players and has gotten little to no traction. Should he bet on himself with a one year deal with the #Mets or does he risk waiting for the market to pop? 👀
#LGM
If the #Mets can't/don't sign Pete Alonso, to me, the pivot isn't Paul Goldschmidt or a stop gap major league first baseman.
I'd sign Alex Bregman and move Mark Vientos to 1B.
They'd be giving up a pick but getting one back for Alonso, Severino & maybe Manaea.
While the #Mets and Pete Alonso are still in engaged in talks, could they pivot to Vlad Jr annd invest in the team’s present and future?! It seems like Pete’s market has yet to be revealed but how likely is it that the Mets would enter a bidding war for the Polar Bear?
📺: youtu.be/8wG1m7dWcjc?...
With the Juan Soto deal officially in the books, the #Mets must turn their focus to building around one of the best hitters in baseball.
It’s been reported that the team is looking into Alex Bregman but would that be wise? What does this mean for Pete Alonso?
