Have used Affinity for the past 6 years and still amazed by its performance.
We started editing in DaVinci because it was included with our camera, but itβs what Iβd recommend nonetheless!

Had a blast with the Demon Souls remake, now to start with Dark Souls remaster
Had played Bloodborne and Elden Ring halfway but never fully got into it, but the DS remake is so so good I think I finally get it. So Iβm going through things in order now.
Weβre expanding our art departement, looking for a πΈSenior AnimatorπΈ in the Toronto area. Join a very creative, crafty and wholesome team!
Played it on holiday, fun and gorgeous to look at!

I agree. I think sprints are good at the end of a cycle where most details are known (when sprint =/= crunch ofc), after that itβs easy to then fall into the trap of doing sprint after sprint.
Yes, creativity is in distractions, and in boredom most of all. It needs space!
I mean, vacuuming ghouls instead of Booβs ainβt that far fetched.
Not entirely related, but something I absolutely hate on a personal level during all these phases isβ¦*SPRINTS*
A game is a marathon, and all we do is sprint.
Schools need to teach how to walk, sit on a bench and observe, going back the other way because you took a wrong turn, β¦itβs never lineair.
Congrats!
Looking forward to it! It's been exciting seeing your work grow over these past years.
Congrats! You did so well!
My kids came home with skibidi sigma the other day -_-
Esther and I got to talk to De Morgen about @playpokpok.com and how we offer healthy, educational and responsible screentime for kids (and their parents).
Worth the read! (in Dutch).

I replace ash trees with summer oak, stone oak and alder trees which I grow as backups.
Just found a chicken headless. Nothing like a crispy morning walk to the forest graveyard holding a shovel and corpse.
Also, 6 of our sick ash trees fell over in the storm tonight, means I get to make lots of cool stuff.
Cheeky
I had a thing for forests. #animation #art
A whole lot of concept art and sketches - by Mathijs Demaeght
Can still smell the burnout.

Gradients became my friend as well, used them every since.
Early thumbnail sketches of environments - Laya's Horizon - by Mathijs Demaeght
More early thumbnails. Started using vector at the time to more quickly push stuff out.

Could I get added please?
ππΌ Iβll keep a lookout.
I tend to be full of shame, but if I must..
