Fortunato (coughing): Youβre certain the Criterion Closet is down here
Montresor (picking up a trowel): Definitely. Have you thought about your picks yet
Happy new year everybody! A mixed year all up for me, but I am very excited to be working on a lot of cool projects (both with clients and internally), which will hopefully come out soon!
Love to you all!
Iβll see yall next year β¨
Watching THE GREEN KNIGHT again
It's so sad that the first thing you do when you unpack a new bin is put its own wrapping in it. Like it is eating its friend.
Lettercoins was nominated for the Thinky Awards, in the category of Best Pen & Paper Puzzle. Surreal! I don't think we'll win (we're up against some really tough competition) but it is nice to make something that people enjoy enough to nominate for an award like this!

Does anybody else ever leave themselves little affirmations on their to do list? No? Just me?
Finally played the last Golden Idol dlc. What a fantastic series of DLC. I really loved the short dlcs - played through each one in a night with friends, which was such a fantastic way to experience them!
This looks fantastic!!
Waypoint Constellations tonight was such a fantastic event! What a wonderful kickoff to SXSW!
No better way to learn that you don't know how to spell "Radish" than by releasing a word puzzle game where one of the answers is "Raddish". Whoops!
But that has been fixed, and people are raving about Word Worm, so that's lovely!

This game started out as a puzzle mechanic in another thing I was tinkering with, but loved the idea of it I ended up making a bunch of levels for it as a standalone.
Hope folks enjoy it! It's a cute lil worm!
Valve is absolutely nailing the production design of Deadlock. The new characters feel so visually unique, while also feeling like they all fit together seamlessly. Not to mention this new main menu theme song is a certified banger.

How come manga titles got so long nowadays? They sound like Chuck Tingle book titles.
A cute one from the contact form this weekend - looks like a kid who played one of our games was poking around our website :P.
I made a small print&play puzzle over the holidays which is now available! Hope folks enjoy it. Estimated duration is about 2-3 hours. I do think it ended up a little tougher than I initially anticipated... so hopefully it's not too difficult!

When you go to select your pack (another unnecessary detail, but one I quite like), there are also sometimes packs which start backwards. Not sure why they added these steps in to the pack opening process, but I do feel it gives it a bit more of a 'physical' feel, which is nice.
A fun little #gamdev detail I noticed in the new Pokemon TCG. You can turn your packs around before you open them. If you do, the cards inside are reversed, and you have to flip them back over to see them.
Just a weird little detail - not sure why they added it, but fun to find!
Don't you just love it when somebody tries to attack your website with an SQL Injection attack π.
Doesn't look like they were able to do anything (we're sanitising our inputs and all), but still getting 300 emails like this in 5-10 minutes is a bit scary.
The more I play UFO50, the more I think this might be one of the best games of all time. It is rapidly approaching Outer Wilds as the peak of indie gaming for me.
So excited for this one!! Please all back it so I can get my copy ASAP π
