My list for dumbest U.S. senators were Tuberville, Blackburn and Mullin. All are leaving the Senate. So else fits that category?

In every Republican presidency of my lifetime there's been a recession and a new war in the Middle East.

US wants world to buy its fossil fuels, while China wants to sell world its clean tech.

There is only 1 winner in this fight.

China's exports of solar panels, batteries, EV hit a record in August, with $20 billion in products shipped globally, acc to a new report from Ember.

Matt Dunlap helped force out Jared Golden by challenging him for the nomination. Baldacci endorsed Golden and Wood said nothing. #mepolitics

Correction. Orwell never said this. He did however, warn that: "political language... is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.” (That's Politics and the English Language, one of my favorite essays)

Agree. Platner seems to think the job of a senator is to give speeches and take votes based on preexisting opinions. He's missing part of the job and doesn't demonstrate the ability to negotiate, query witnesses and experts and work in coalition to pass imperfect legislation.

Graham Platner’s wife isn’t Jewish. That said, I don’t think he’s an antisemite. I do think he should speak out against antisemitism.

At this point, whenever a news headline starts with the phrase β€œCollege Republican group chat”, it feels like a pretty safe bet that the article involves a metric fuckton of bigoted slurs and/or Hitler particles.

We’ve seen Mills win statewide before. Last time it was by 90,000 votes. Platner has political skills and is running at a time that gives him advantages but he’s never been tested in any election.

Susan Collins just gave Donald Trump the green light to take further unilateral military action that could push the United States into another endless war without oversight.

She doesn't have the courage to stand up to the President, even when American lives are on the line.
