Panel 1: Shen is jumping into the panel with his hands up in "claws that are gonna getcha" position, and yelling "HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!" He has made a loose attempt at dressing up as Cosmo from Chainsaw Man, with a 'brain' made of pink string strapped to the right side of his head via the string. A particularly long strand of string that hangs down is tied in a bow at the end. He's wearing glasses with only the right lens inserted, on which is taped another string, suspending an 'eyeball' consisting of a ping pong ball with a black circle painted on it with a heart in the center. Panel 2: Shen holds his belly and laughs heartily, very amused as his own hijink. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" Panel 3: "... HEH ..." -- Shen's laughter slows down as he looks forward, still smiling and with his arms a bit away from his body. Panel 4: Shen adopts a calm and serious expression, standing perfectly neutral and looking forward, as we zoom in on him. Panel 5: We turn the camera around to reveal that Shen is looking at pitch black darkness. "Who am I even talking to?" he asks, "Is there anybody there?" Panel 6: We zoom out from a high angle, that Shen is in a perfectly white void that recedes into shadow. He looks to the side and asks "where even am I?" Panel 7: As Shen is still looking to the side, a gargantuan ball of flesh begins emerging from the darkness. The flesh is covered with holes in the shape of smiling eyes and mouths, most right side up, some upside down. It carries itself on hundreds of arms, each with too many joints. All of the faces are laughing.

I hate the fact that as a youth, I didn't think I'd make it past my mid-20s and the same mentality is not the worst coping strategy right now.

It makes you terrible at planning or doing things beyond the short term. But then again, it staves off looking too hard at the likelihood of a non-future.

Shen looks on contently. Panel 3: Shen is talking to Kasane Teto, who is wearing a mustard-yellow t-shirt with a baguette graphic and baguette style lines on the shoulders, and sweatpants. They look happily at each other. Shen: "Are you the REAL TETO??" Teto: "Yeah!" Shen: "Prove it." Panel 4: Teto keels over a bit, shaking and crying hard, screaming "AAAAAAAAAAAAAA". Shen looks on contently.
