So I was watching a video by @standupmaths.bsky.social the other day, and in a comment reply I suggested a certain choice of values for a 3x3 dithering kernel. I also said I would implement it to see the result. I have no idea how to let the YT commenters know, though.

Oh no it's not difficult. I have just had waaay more issues upgrading Linux than Windows, to the point every time I do a release upgrade I wonder if it will still work at all after. Granted this hasn't happened anywhere near as often in the past 5 years, but trauma.

Linux, Windows or Mac?
With Linux, it's a wonder if it still boots after the update,
with Windows, it's a wonder if it didn't mess up your audio settings after update,
with Mac, there's no wonder, it will most likely work, but it will most likely make your device one step closer to be unusably slow.

Part of it maybe, but also the ability for the server to customize the client depending on the minigame / game style.

I have been really uninterested about it. I just don't like the art style at all. Everything about the game I have seen just left me shrugging.

Imagine that you were an unauthorized user. The answer to "Is that you, or an authorized user?" is still YES.

They only have so much time and money to spend with the actors and crew. Sometimes the setup to make a scene happen would be too complicated and the options are vfx or cut the scene out.

It makes sense, in a twisted way. Most nimals are not contradicting their beliefs so they deserve saving, but some people do. So they end up with this weird list of priorities: People like them (beliefs and appearance) > animals > people not like them (beliefs) > people not like them (appearance)
