My MSWL:
While I have a particular soft spot for hilarious rom coms and twisty suspense/thrillers, the main things that draw me into a story are strong voice and deep, immersive POV, regardless of genre or age group. Those two factors are what make a book unputdownable for me.

My bread and butter is adult rom com—the dryer or darker the humor, the better. I yearn for books that can make me laugh, and if you can make me cackle, I’ll be turning pages well into the night.

I also really love books that toe the line between romance/rom com and women’s fiction, with protagonists who have rich character arcs. I’m open to all levels of spice, from closed-door to high-heat.

While I love rom coms, I’m not the best fit for gut-wrenching angsty books in romance or women’s fiction, or women’s fiction if the book doesn’t have an HEA. Please don’t hurt my fragile little heart 😅
