I think the closest comparison would be kerosene. You usually call up the company of choice and a day or two later a large oil truck parks out front and pumps whatever they have on file. Otherwise you have to pay up to $12,000 to have natural gas run up your street.

I realized something about Star Trek TNG. Picard had his heart replaced with a mechanical one when he was much younger. Wouldn't the Borg have replaced it with something better, especially when he had a fling with the Borg Queen? If they could attach skin to Data, surely they could grow a heart.

Canada needs to understand that after he closes this new bridge that he is also quietly planning to do the same with CUSMA. The whole reason why the bridge was approved in the first place was because of the increasing trade between Canada & the US. That's all but gone now.

I'm four episodes in and I still dont even remember any of their names, while the doctor was doing his scenes I just thought, wow he must have been desperate for the work. It's 800 years later, everyone he knew is long dead, and I guess he's also called "The doctor" Pleeease, cancel this show!
I'm 4 episodes invested into this and it's not getting any better. The script is like a set of dominos that neatly all fall down once they ticked the right boxes for the episode. Towards the end we find out the Klingon student's family survived the accident so we didn't even have to cry over that!
Then I thought, wow if I wanted to send my gifted child, I definitely would not have sent my brightest children to Starfleet Academy... and it shows!!! LOL!!! So these kids are shot into space in their first year? Yikes, and one admits to swallowing a badge! A Klingon episode with mostly talking.
The entire time I watched the episode I just kept thinking, I would be so embarrassed to submit this as a script. Oh and don't forget the captain, just sit and wait and watch her do something she wouldn't get away with on older Trek. Did she order everyone off the bridge for that scene or...?
Star Trek Academy is so stupid! Start with klingon centered episode, sudden Klingon mechanical failure of a transit. Of course his parents are on the transit, of course they were affected by the burn. Of course they need a new planet & of Klingon student has solution & family is safe, end episode!

Trump is not going to offer Canadians the same freedoms we have now. I highly doubt Trump would allow Canadians to continue having universal healthcare and he would quickly gut Canadian social programs that Americans have been stripped away from having by the Trump administration.
Trump is a hypocrite as he doesn't use a secured phone provided to him, he just does as he wants and uses his own phone, likely made in China. When Trump wants to do a trade deal with China it's OK, but when Canada does it, we become a threat to US national security. We don't want to be like the US!
Like this idiocy of using letting in Chiense EV's, that the cars will record our every movement. Why would China need to even do that? We don't seem at all concerned that we all carry around phones made in China and they already have GPS, a microphone and a Camera! They could just use our phones!
What is Canada to do? Trump doesn't want us making any part of American car, so our leader struck a trade deal to start allowing Chinese EV's in, now these same people are trying to paint Canada as compromised by China and the US again needs to take Canada for their safety.

Now these same ppl are following the Monroe Doctrine that if you are a country that cannot protect itself, then you have no say in countries like the US taking your country away from you.
It bothers me so much because at what point does what the US is doing becomes our business? Trump will want Canada if the EU gives in and lets Trump take Greenland. Then Trump will make the same demands of Canada, citing arctic security or being unable to complete his stupid "golden dome"
I am suffering from so much depression. The first time this happened was after Sept 11th and how the world was no longer that safe place I grew up in. Fast forward to 25 years later, now I have to deal with the depression that Trump just won't let Greenland go, and I know Canada will be next.

I'll be positive for once, lol. Mom is slowly doing better and I've sorted all but one thing out. My cat Kuma is 25 years old+ and hes still healthy. I just wish I knew BC better. I don't know anyone around here, friends would be nice. I'll finally have the time to move to a better laptop.
So any Americans that see these messages, get what you want or need now from Canada because come the summer, Trump will give notice he is withdrawing from CUSMA.
