It is disappointing that, despite very strong Yes votes for industrial action, our ballot has fallen victim to a highly restrictive element of trade union legislation that is soon to be repealed.

Email received from Special Advisor stating that the meeting requested was for neither John Swinney or Jenny Gilruth
Email sent by us on 27th June (no contact before this since November 28th 2024)
1) Today, Jenny Gilruth stated that ‘her team’ had tried to organise a meeting with us several times.
We sent an email on 27th June.
A ‘special advisor’ emailed us 25th July.
This person stated they were not acting on behalf of ‘either John Swinney or Jenny Gilruth’

I work in an ASN school & my school is risk assessed for 95 yet we have 160 learners. We have nearly 12 per class. We cannot get it right for every child if teachers are firefighting, and if classes are overfilled and schools under resourced
Andrew Fullwood Glasgow LA moves motion 31 on maximum class sizes for ASN/Special Schools and Units.
We have spoken a lot today about the pressure on ASN establishments and specialists. And we know that when there is too much pressure that teachers and pupils will end up hurt #EISAGM25
Jennifer McGeehan Glasgow LA moves motion 27 for a campaign to alter maternity pay from 13 weeks full pay followed by 26 weeks statutory maternity pay to 6 weeks full pay ad 33 weeks statutory maternity pay.
