Corporate tax cuts rarely translate into sustained hiring, but wages alone aren’t a growth strategy either. Durable job creation comes from pairing higher worker incomes with productivity-boosting investment, competition, and supply expansion - not demand alone.

This reads right. In today’s polarized environment, elections are driven by fundamentals and identity, not marginal messaging gains. “Better communicator” is less analysis than coping - it avoids confronting deeper structural and coalition-level failures.

Speaking out is part of democratic health. So is understanding how language, norms, and institutions either reinforce or weaken that participation over time.
