I was thinking the same thing (although I have no connection to Ohio)…. The joke may be that everything gets celebrated with beer in Wisconsin, regardless of where the beer may be from
Few things are more pleasing than hearing a variety of languages being spoken organically in my community - give me more neighbors who speak a different language please!!
I would rather live next door to someone who speaks another language than live next door to someone who doesn’t want to live near people who speak other languages. I know nothing about Person A but I know person B is a shitbird.

I do this too - but I have a grading rubric for the concepts I want to see and it really shows who understands vs who is just scanning for formulae to do homework
