Looking at the property from the front, courtesy of Google, it may well have been big enough to be the site of the depository, with vehicle access at the side. I'll have a little wander up this weekend and check it out

Wow! That's brilliant.
Right, think there's something here... paintedsignsandmosaics.blogspot.com/2012/07/hodg...
And 'furniture'.
Looks like 'mortgage' and motor car(s) ' so I'd deffo say some sort of savings service. Just need to find out where/when.
I've had a go at soliciting help from Facebook. Hodgins Depositor looks right, might have offered saving services for big purchases, such as 'motor cars'. Hopefully they'll come good.
The people of Ordnance Road must be far luckier with their hair than me, 3 salons in a row!
Brilliant stuff, thanks.

And this one on Ordnance Road, Enfield
@royreed.bsky.social A couple of new ones today. 1 Lynn St, Enfield, and how it used to look...... 1/2

A slightly better picture of this one in West Ealing.
It is Balham Telephone Exchange, I think, 67 Upper Tooting Road.
The two painted ads are at the bottom of the escalator at South Wimbledon Station.

What do we reckon about these? The first 2 are at South Wimbledon tube station, and they look to be painted rather than posters. The other is in Tooting. It is still a telephone exchange but there is a new buzzer and entryphone opposite.
@royreed.bsky.social Unfortunately, though not unsurprisingly, this one is now gone too.
Three for the price of one near Borough today. @royreed.bsky.social
@royreed.bsky.social Gone, alas. You can just see the frame for the roof in the Street view pic, that now blocks the rest of the sign.
Eine Kleine mooch about Berlin
I remember making little dioramas like that from Weetabix packets. Back of the box and little cutout figures inside.
It may be that some is still visible from the right angle, I'll have to take a spin during the day to see.
@royreed.bsky.social Another one gone, the Church's & Cheaney one in Fulham. Now looks like this... courtesy of Google Street View.
Little stroll round W1 last night.
Drayton Green Road /Alexandria Road, West Ealing. Not great as it was dark, will get it again in daylight soon.
@royreed.bsky.social
Would make sense.
Anyone know what this might be?
Tricky as I reckon the first (few) letters may be missing. 2nd row - cement, or element.
First one might be gambling related. The last one is too similar to the English to not be the same.... I should add, I do r speak Spanish.
Gloucester Cathedral. 2 types of cheese for the price of 1.
Double Gloucester
