I used to do stretched out sounds like that when I was in college and a good chunk of the stuff I’m looking at pulling is from that time too. So using an old favourite trick on some old stuff really? 2015 me would think I’m a genius
Vibe of this project seems to be stretching out a lot of old bits and pieces into longer soundscapes. Unsure whether I’ll be adding more to these or leaving them in that state. Will know more after I dig around a bit more and can see all the material together

I’m definitely going to be doing more of these short burst recording projects and encourage anyone to give it a try. You never know what might come from it!
Listening back and this might be one of my favourite things I’ve ever recorded for any project. And it maybe took 40 minutes from start to finish.
Day 4 update. The album is nearly recorded. I’m very VERY happy with this track.
Day 3 of the Strong Doctor project. The goal was to make a 10 track album in one week. So far I’m 6 tracks in. Right on schedule. Very loose/weird/sound collage-y. Nothing has structure. It’s fun to make shit. Especially when the goal is unlistenable garbage.
