I was in ATL Thursday on this week hanging a work acquired by the GSU library, giving a talk in an Advanced Painting class, and doing studio visits with current MFA students.

This work was made in summer 2023 when the smoke from the Canadian wild fires created an eery orange haze over NYC in early June.
The threat of climate change and the devastation caused by wild fires is even more present.
Sending thoughts and love to LA as they continue to work towards healing.
Happy to see this work from mid-2024 find a new home in December!
