This isn’t my first book so I am quite familiar with the editing process.
I’m also an agented author pursuing trad pub so I don’t hire editors.

I don’t know how to use chatgpt etc but I imagine it’s going to a website and typing “oh no what groceries do I buy please tell me false god for I am so weak I cannot go on” as your brain atrophies and leaks out of your ears from disuse and the machine is like “buy eggs milk bread and a horse”

Someone who churns out hundreds of AI "books" and makes money tricking people into buying them thinking they're getting a novel isn't a writer. They're a scammer.
They're no more an author than a snake oil salesman is a doctor. It's just fundamentally a different thing.
