A: 24 x 365 β 24 x 60 x 6 β 60 x 60 x 2
B: 60 x 60 x 24
C: 365 x 10 β 60 x 6 x 10 β 60 x 60
D: 60 x 24 x 7 β 60 x 60 x 3
Thatβs being very clinical about it (even for me!). C is the easiest and 3650 is barely over 60 x 60 which already puts it below B. Have forwarded to my maths teacher friends!

Lucy Bronze on how she decided to blast her penalty down the middle (and score).
βStatistically itβs risky for the goal keeper to stand stillβ¦ so yeah, I love mathsβ.

Excellent. Many of my students were taught fractions as βsharing between x amount of peopleβ. Theyβre stumped when this interpretation falls down (βhow can I share a pizza with half a person!?β). Lovely explanation and multiple counter methods for this Howie! #mathstoday

Itβs hard to unlearn things when teaching ahaha. Some of those C questions from the old spec really did require thinking outside the box (I did not enjoy that back then).
Hey, you gave them a headstart right? π

Dual strips (4x2) middle (3) symmetrical singles (I guess, 1x2)
Thanks for the idea, Iβm going to use this with my students!

In #MathsToday my year 7's had their 2nd lesson on expanding brackets. We compared different methods, with all by the end of the lesson choosing grid method or claw, having all used algebra tiles last lesson. We ended with: expand 3(x-5)-2(x-5) to check whether they would rely too much on a method.
