I'm a big fan of red switches + o-rings myself, but i also heard that you can improve the type of sound by having a less hollow keyboard body (by filling up the empty space with resin or sth) ((i tried with duct tape once, but i don't think it changed much)) and more dense keycaps (like ceramic)
