Projecting... But ok. This is what happens when you make assumptions about others and then start a fight. You get wrecked logically by someone who actually knows what they're talking about.
And who else talks like that? A certain βDonaldβ therefore we can conclude youβre just a bad faith Trump supporter trying to divide the resistance to his policies. QED
You took this discussion out of scope. I am under no obligation to engage especially when it is either 1) hyperbolic rhetoric 2) beating a dead horse about something very obvious
Because youβre the one who started itβ¦
You really are just a closeted Trump supporter smh
LOL
People like you are just embarrassing, youβre smart enough not to be a a foulmouthed fool yet act just like Trump supporters and project all your neuroses onto others. Pathetic.
Iβm not even a conservativeβ¦ Someone has reading comprehension issues+needs a therapist.
This was not the topic at hand.
E.g. to what extent is Depression situational and how much of the diagnostic increases is caused by bad economic prospects? TBC, do their ideas make sense? Absolutely not but the point is attack them on that not misreadings of the statement at hand.
You are the one who is factually wrong and this is coming from someone on multiple psych meds. They view these conditions as poorly treated/maybe overdiagnosed ergo find better solutions and investigate. Are their policies idiotic and counterproductive? 100% But we have to be intellectually honest.
Cool but doesnβt seem that groundbreaking to me vs. Small LLMs generally?
Having LLMs is a total Godsend when dealing with Linux as a semi-knowledgeable user! it's literally like being able to have a convo with the forums/docs instead of scouring them manually for hours!
Ok Iβm actually getting excited about reading nonfiction again and getting bored of manga/anime woohoo! :DDDD
Care to elaborate?
Probably not the best use of my time but I spent 2 hours today figuring out how to get manga onto my Kindle including creating proper ebooks with webscraping! The end result was quite satisfying even if time consuming!
Y?
Ok the weirdest fucking thing about recovering from a Major Depressive Episode is now Iβve hit the point where I need to βrelearnβ executive function skills that Iβd more or less mastered before. But, I guess itβs a good sign overall cause it means the light at the end of the tunnel is visible!
Goddamn it, o1-mini actually is tempting me to spend $$ on OAI API credits again :') Sometimes even our beloved Claude can't cut it for STEM problems.
There are a surprising number of Cantonese uncles just yapping at Tim Hortons at 1am π Just glad I brought earplugs
Starbucks Latte grande coffee cup on a table in a cafe with a laptop nearby.
Ok so like I havenβt had coffee in like over a year cause I donβt really need caffeine as a stimulant anymore but like this decaf latte was surprisingly enjoyable from a taste perspective! Perhaps I should touch grass more often!
Just binged all 4 Rebuild of Evangelion movies and man, I must say, I unironically like these more than the original series. Counters the incredibly depressive nature of the original while still being engaging and thought-provoking and actually has a happy ending :)
Ok good news it looks like vortioxetine is going generic around mid 2025 in Canada!
That moment when your meds have sufficiently kicked in that depressive thoughts seem like *just* a lack of perspective π
There are few things to which I feel more raw antipathy than medical paternalism.
Something something "too complicated, costs more" but my guess would also be people who actually vote in ballot measures are disproportionately partisans.
LMAO no, really not a big fan of OpenAI these days. I do use the API sometimes though and have gotten early access to other things too so that's probably why.
