A special sort of a grumpy but chill look. :)

Once per year the family gets together and combs them and trims their hooves. The rest of the time the three exist in a massive pasture all to themselves on a quiet island with no threat to their wellbeing apart from time.

Ahhh, that's some of the difficulty. My photo lab scans, but each time I have to convince them to scan as is (not reverse or color correct).

They think that Phoenix always blows out highlights and has a red cast because they use "normal" settings and that's how it turns out.

What adjustments do you do for color? I had some Phoenix II of autumn larches, and getting the yellow to come out has been a process. All the tweaks from Phoenix I went out the windows.

I noticed that green needs to be tamed.

Phoenix is always fun with the halations. My only thing with Phoenix II is if I didn't know better, I'd say the grain is coarser than Phoenix I. I like grain, but I was surprised.

My formula for color balance from P1 does not work for P2.

I'm speechless! I'm glad you like the photograph! This was my first time shooting on Harman Phoenix II. Exposure was a little uncertain (do I trust box-speed 200 iso...or 120 iso) and the processing of the negative image took redoing my process from old Phoenix 1 back to square one.

I really like your photography, and I respect your skill. How about ding me for the weird color balance in my Phoenix II. That's 100% fair game.
