Drawing on Malaka's very important work on how resilience can be a dangerous rhetoric, we elaborated on how academia dehumanizes and discredits us in many ways when this rhetoric is foregrounded at the expense of the actual lived realities.
Sharing this piece that my colleagues: Malaka Shwaikh, Hala Shoman, and Saga Hamdan and I wrote last year, problematizing the resilience narrative opposed to the lived realities to Palestinians and Palestinians from Gaza.
