I went from architecture to UX and now dev and I could swear it’s always the same, design is everywhere. it’s like this overarching pattern always emerging to me.
it’s a fascinating thing about us as humans, we’re always just designing things yet, it’s wild that it’s never really taught on its own..
and by design, I don’t mean visual design, system, architecture etc.
Just design on its own, different design theories, how people augment them in different fields, why it matters and how it’s really just a constant thing about life.
The more I think about it the more i think design should be mandatory in education.

tools have been shifting to abstraction over control making them cookie cutters and the thing about cookie cutters is, they just don’t make you a chef..
