A sentiment I see expressed a lot is how the internet allegedly made more people gross, ignorant, rude, etc, but I don't agree with that.

The internet just made us acutely aware of how many garbage people exist in our midst.

A group of people erupting in celebration not realizing that the reason they’ve never heard of or had to deal with certain infectious diseases is because vaccines helped to diminish their numbers. So many ppl happy to welcome diseases that we can actively prevent/control is nasty work! Literally!

The number of people hiding their sexual desires from their partners because they think it’ll ruin the relationship is wild.
