Ghana's economy records 5.3% growth in Q1 2025, surpassing expectations, according to Business Insider Africa.

The African Development Bank (AfDB) projects Ghana's economy to expand by 4.5% by the end of 2025.

The No Fees Stress initiative is going viral across West Africa as students receive tuition refund alerts on their phones. The free tertiary education for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) is also underway as part of the Mahama administration’s commitment to inclusive education.

Many students who get admitted to college in Ghana are unable to enroll because they cannot afford the fees. Last week, all public university fees for first-year students were declared free. 15,000 students' fees were refunded at launch. This is the #NoFeesStress initiative.
