Pulling up TSN .ca to see if the Leafs made any trades like it’s 20 years ago.

Not cool!
Amazing, thanks a bunch man. Those are all right near it.
Not to high jack - but any good pubs near Tableau? In Van for a night later this month for work.
Kalshi employees "kind of understand that without the tweets and the streamers and all of the social-media stuff that the traders do for them, usually just for free, their marketing would be a lot harder," said Jack Campion, 20, a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Kalshi affiliate. In September, Kalshi briefly signed up a 15-year-old videogame streamer who goes by vertid online to promote its brand on X as an affiliate. A week later, Kalshi ended the partnership. "Yo brother, legal team confirmed that we can't work with minors rn," a Kalshi employee wrote to the user in messages reviewed by the Journal. "Kinda sad tbh."
what the fuck are we doing

Agreed, would have bet on him being dynamite on TV.
Leafs putting it out there that they may re-sign him to drum up interest. Very common.
Gotta think this is just media posturing. This stuff happens all the time.
Man, I would settle for far, far less when it comes to Leafs coverage!
It’s probably the smart move, but I just don’t see them coming out of a rebuild with a better chance of contending than hoping 34/88 figure it out (I’m very much on the record of how unlikely that is).
Over time, it has become impossible to casually know the approximate truth of what’s happening in any given current affairs topic.
It’s just not a thing anymore.
Just inexcusable player development all the way around. Good piece from Kloke.
I thought this was a joke about how poorly Brady Tkachuk handled the last few days but no this is actually just a fully accurate description of what he just did in a hockey game that’s happening right now
I hope the Toronto press relentlessly asks AM34 how he, as : 1. USA captain honoured a man oppressing MN so egregiously his four teammates from that state wouldn’t go; and 2. TML captain honoured a man threatening Canada’s sovereignty.
What’s wild about the last point is that it’s not just all the MSM / old guys that stayed on Twitter; it’s a ton of the younger reporters/writers that are still there.
How does that have anything to do with my post?
I feel like casual fans being surprised to learn the men’s hockey team are all Trump guys is one big difference between the US & Canada. Most of my normal friends aren’t hockey fans, but it’s just taken for granted that hockey players are probably bad guys. We all went to school with hockey players.
If you’re a Leafs fan and you’re surprised Matthews is an asshole, you haven’t been paying attention.
Don’t give me the bland patriotic stuff, this is a nakedly partisan event. The Leafs should trade Matthews immediately for being the Captain of these chuds. Get the hell out of Canada if you support a President who wants to take us over.
What a goddamn idiot
He’s going?!
Fwiw they really did give him a Make-a-Wish day, as in, the experience you might see an NHL team do for a kid at the local children's hospital. Matthew Tkachuk put his medal on him. They let him in the victory circle that was only the team. Except you paid for him to do it and he's 45 and not sick
Kash Patel got his Make-a-Wish. You paid hundreds of thousands of dollars so he could cosplay as a gold medal winner with his hockey heroes. Dream weekend, very happy he could live out this fantasy @slate.com slate.com/culture/2026...
again, women's team vs. men's team
normies: more Olympic hockey overtime!!!! so exciting
hockey fans: once again we are subjected to The Great Travesty
Hockey should probably be a controlled substance
First time I’ve seen legit criticism of Silver from NBA media in, maybe, ever? Good stuff from Beck.
Waiting around for the game to start
I don’t know man, YMMV, but beating them at the Four Nations was pretty damn sweet, and it would be even better at the Olympics (as underdogs nonetheless).
