You got to know when to hold 'em. Know when to fold 'em. Know when to walk away. Know when to run.

Senesi bench jam!
Concentrate on recovery, and we'll catch you next week.

Glad to hear it, and good to have you back.
One could say that continuity is what allowed Liverpool to win the league last season. They're rebuilding the squad. Rebuild continuity with the new group, then see what happens.
Anyway, who's available that is demonstrably better than Slot? I'd hate to see us go the Chelsea/Tottenham route.

Da fuq? Who's coming in to replace him, if anyone? This seems ill-advised in the extreme.
Agree. This is antithetical to a well-run team.

This is FPL, so, yeah, triple-decker shit sandwich incoming.
A few years back Az got an 11-pointer one week; dunno what the absolute GW rank was. That's the gold standard I aspire to.
[welcome to the party, pal.gif]
I've had my worst and second worst game weeks in the last two.
By my calculation, Elliott can make 4 more appearances for Villa without triggering the option to buy, which Emery has said they will not trigger.
If he leaves, they better get in someone really solid who can hold it down defensively and play more than one position on that line. I understand his service and the desire to help him ahead of the WC, but on this form the team is going to miss out on all that CL money next season.
It's funny, and I can't put my finger on why, but I'd rather see City win the league than Arsenal (despite the 115 charges).
Given the injuries in defense, I'd rather lose Endo or even Bajcetic (regrettably, but I think he's going to be one of those chronically injured players) than transfer out an experienced defender, even one who's lost a step.
Would have to be a guy who also can play center back in a pinch, I would think. But with all the injuries, they can't afford to let anybody go, now.
Yep yep yep. Figure that out now and refine it the rest of the season.
And for crying out loud, don't sell Robbo.
A mix of the gullible, ignorant, and evil.
Not even half. 65% of the 236 million eligible to vote did so. 32.6% (77 mil) of those eligible voted for Trump; 31.7% (75 mil) voted for Harris. The popular vote difference was just 2 million, 0.8% of those eligible. With voter apathy (and the archaic method for electing the president) we own this.
It's time for countries around the world to boycott the 2026 World Cup in the USA. We don't deserve to host a peaceful gathering of the world's peoples in sport or anything else.
Please don't enable the current leadership of the United States by continuing as if things are normal. They aren't.
We have an old house, and we do what we should, but you never know. And weβre in the ice zone. Too many soft pines around power lines in this neighborhood. Heavy snow plus 1/4 inch sleet or freezing rain is a bad mix. Plus danger of roof ice dams later in the week. π€
I suppose itβs a matter of perspective, but itβs so fβing cold 10F/-12C, -3F wind chill) here in the Delaware Valley that Iβm just serene about the Pool Boys today. Just going to enjoy the match and pray pipes donβt freeze and no danage from incoming snow and ice storm.
Can't say you're wrong, from this side of the pond. As we've so recently and comprehensively demonstrated, no agreement with the US is worth the paper it's printed on; because at the next election we may elect a megalomaniac who will completely disregard our prior commitments.
It's official. Worst gameweek in my five years of FPL.
(Worst gameweek so far.)
"This Is Anfield."
Arteta subtweet?
I admire someone who recognizes their mistake and quickly corrects it. Bravo, sir. You set a standard everyone should follow.
