βIn #diabetes, hormonal changes from puberty to menopause can significantly affect management, yet women remain underrepresented in research and clinical trials. They are diagnosed ~4.5 years later than men and face higher risks of mortality and complications.

π March 8 marked #InternationalWomensDay. Under the theme βRights. Justice. Action.β, we highlight a critical issue: the unmet health needs of women. These gaps undermine womenβs right to health and demand urgent, concrete action β including for women living with #diabetes.
