We launched an update to #OrionDrift today. The team did a really wonderful job. I drifted in to play with random community members today and got some excited feedback. The build has a bunch of great new stuff, especially the new "capture the beacon" mode.

I’m having a mild conniption that the Experimental Games Showcase #GDC description says “now back for its 23rd year.”

I went to the first one and almost every one for the last 23 YEARS??!! There will probably be PRESENTERS at it that are younger than 23. Geez I’m old.

You know, it has been bothering me for years that people were such fans of fascists like mass murderer Darth Vader and characters actually called Stormtroopers. I should have suspected something was up.

I won’t exactly disagree given what we work on. But I love (and bought) Job Sim, Vacay Sim, and Cosmonius High. I think there is an enduring place for consumable, non-social games, but one has to right size expectations and budget so there’s ROI.

I want to follow more people in my industry who talk about work and the art form of making games. Anyone got a good XR game developer starter pack?
